It’s no surprise that I am a planner gal. Over time I have begun utilizing electronic calendars for meetings and appointments, but I still find that having a physical planner is the most efficient and enjoyable way to keep my lists organized and weekly plans in check. I’ve used different ones over the years, all of which have helped out in distinct ways throughout various stages of life. Below are some of my favorite planners to help you get off on the right foot in 2023!
1. To Do List Notepad for Daily Tasks
Best for: The Minimalist
Pros: Compact and simple
Cons: Very basic with little space for anything extra
2. The Passion Planner
Best for: The Goal Setter
Pros: Comprehensive all-in-one planner, includes ample goal setting pages and weekly inspiration
Cons: For some, it is too much and unnecessary for their planning needs
3. The Hope Planner
Best for: Those wanting to integrate their devotional and planner into one
Pros: Beautiful design, opportunity to combine planning and personal devotions into one space
Cons: Only makes sense if you use it on a regular basis
4. Inamio 2023 Hourly Planner
Best for: Tracking daily appointments/meetings on paper
Pros: Great for professionals who have hourly appointments or want to track their days on paper
Cons: Little room for to-do lists
5. These are the Days Planner (printout)
Best for: The busy professional who also wants to keep track of meal planning/habit tracking/important dates
Right after returning from maternity leave in the Summer of 2021 I found myself looking for a planner that fit with my new lifestyle as a professional and a mom. I was back to work, but no longer had the time to fill out all of my weekly goals, meetings, and lists onto paper. I was already tracking meetings on my electronic calendar, so what I needed was a place to organize my personal to-do list and work to-do list, an area to track my workouts and quiet time, and an area for meal planning. I looked far and wide for this planner and it doesn’t exist. So, I created it! My dream is to turn this into an actual planner one day, but for now a print out will have to work 🙂
