Purpose Driven Rhythms is a monthly blog feature that highlights the rhythms and routines of ordinary people with the goal of inspiring new ideas and intentional living.

Frederick Maryland event wedding planner

I decided to kick off our very first Purpose Driven Rhythms feature by sharing a bit more about my daily routine and rhythms. I have gained so much inspiration from hearing about how others structure their days, which is why I think this is such a cool topic to share on each month. Be sure to sign up for our monthly newsletter to receive this feature every month!

7am: Wake up the kids and get them ready for the day, clean kitchen while they are eating breakfast

8am-11am: Sneak away to work at a coffee shop

11:15am: Lunch with the kids

12pm: Put boys down for a nap, do household chores, meal prep for dinner, squeeze in work if time allows!

2:30pm(ish): Get boys up from nap and play for awhile

A keystone habit is a habit that impacts other aspects of your routine and has a positive impact on your overall rhythms in life. What is one of your keystone habits?

Working out on a regular basis is my keystone habit. When I am regularly moving my body, I find that I make better lifestyle choices such as eating healthier, resting, and investing my time into the things that matter most to me.

What is one piece of advice that you would give to someone who is trying to establish a routine that works for their lifestyle?

It is natural for routines to change frequently and that’s okay. Try not to get caught up in keeping the same rhythms all the time. Be prepared to change things up as the seasons of your life change.
